Extended Family Session Information

An extended family photography session with me means letting go of perfection and embracing your loved ones just as you are.

Moms, Dads, Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins - let’s get everyone in the photos. Life gets so busy and getting the whole family together is so special nowadays.

You’ll walk away with a beautiful online gallery that tells the story of your session and a premium photo book as a keepsake that will last for years to come.

Extended Family Session | $825

$100 deposit is due at time of booking to secure your session date.

Extended Family sessions are for those who would like to include multiple family units.

These take place at an outdoor location. For the best outdoor light, I recommend scheduling approximately 1.5 hours prior to sunset. However, I am flexible on times with extended family photos as I know coordinating schedules can be tricky. Sessions last approximately 60-90 minutes.

Session includes:

All fully edited high resolution photos presented in a private online gallery for viewing, sharing and downloading (minimum of 50 images).
A premium 10x10 lay flat photo book with 20 pages for you to enjoy your beautiful memories in print.

I know you are busy, which is why I custom design the book for you. No extra work, just something tangible to enjoy your photographs forever.

Additional photo books in sizes 10x10, 8x8, and 5x5 may be purchased separately.

FAQS

WHERE WILL MY SESSION TAKE PLACE? I recommend doing extended family sessions at an outdoor location. I have some favorite outdoor locations in the area to help you choose and you can check out my blog post here for some of my favorite locations around Buffalo.

HOW LONG IS A TYPICAL SESSION? Approximately 1.5 hours. I will get the whole group together, each individual family gets photos together, and then any other groupings your family would like. I send out a questionnaire prior to the session for you to complete to let me know which groupings are most important for your family to photograph.

WHEN CAN WE SEE OUR PHOTOS? My turnaround time is approximately 3-4 weeks.

WHAT IF IT RAINS? We will reschedule!

WHAT IF WE NEED TO RESCHEDULE? I totally understand that sometimes unavoidable things come up or people get sick. If something happens, I am happy to work with you to reschedule your session.

WILL YOU USE OUR IMAGES ON YOUR WEBSITE/SOCIAL MEDIA? I am always happy and excited to show my work, however I will never share your images without your permission and completely understand the desire to keep them private if you choose.

WHY ARE EXTENDED FAMILY SESSIONS DIFFERENT THAN FAMILY/MATERNITY/NEWBORN SESSIONS? Extended Family sessions contain multiple family units and I have found it works much better to keep these all-inclusive, meaning you receive all the digital images, rather than having several different families try to narrow down what images to choose.
